No Saturday Morning Classes this week.  Halloween Party, Saturday 6:00 pm.  Come in costume and ready to work out.  After the WOD we will have refreshments and good times.

    Brain, I stand corrected. Nice job showing up for the trail run. For all who do not know, some of our members went out and ran a trail run Sunday morning. It is my understanding that it had a lot of elevation in it. And yes, the Brain showed up and completed the event (in a respectable time might I add). Nice work to Cori and Brain.

    what is the earliest you might get there today? I would like to come early and get my work out done. I have plans after and dont’ want to for-go the workout.
    can I come at 4:45 and get started?

    Robyn, come in and warm up. I should be in by that time. If not I will be their around that time.

  4. I’ll be there, I’ll try not to flake out this time! Work is FINALLY slowing down.

  5. I think I’m gonna skip out tonight. I’m not ready for a max deadlift day….after Hip/Back Extensions, 200 meters of lunges, deadlifts, box jumps, burpee pullups, a 15k trail run, all in the span of 4 days, I’d say I might need a day off. I’ll be there Tuesday night! Ya’ll kids have fun! Also, I’m excited about the Halloween party! I actually have something to do on a Saturday night! Yippee!!! Kyle, let me know if you need help with the party planning committee.

    Probably a good idea to rest Cori. I will let you know about the Party. I am sure that we will need some last minute items. If you have any ideas let me know.

  8. I found a recipe for Paleo cookies! Want me to attempt to make them? 🙂 We could bob for apples! That’s the only 2 things I can think of that I can eat with Paleo!

  11. You deserve the rest, too! Can you walk today Brian!? I was worried about you there in the car for a bit. I thought you seriously might have overdone it.

  12. can’t we just delcare Saturday night a cheat night? not even a cheat day…..just one meal.

  13. you can…but amber said it takes 7 days to regulate after a cheat day with paleo. i’m doing so good that i am scared to cheat!!

  14. i actually made it through the 9.3 miles adhering to my paleo diet with no GU or gatorade or anything! i ate homemade trail mix and a banana at the finish line! wootwoot! it’ll be hard to convince me to stray just because it’s halloween!

  15. My legs are ok; sore a bit but ok. I’ve got a rather formidable bruise on the left side of my left foot where I kept twisting my ankle or something. Yeah, it was touch & go for a bit there after the race (has anyone seen the pics you took?)

  16. i haven’t even seen the pics i took! ha! i’ll download them tonight and email to kyle…maybe he will be nice enough to put the prettiest ones online! i think the last photo with you laying on the finish line will be the winner! 🙂
