I’ve always been involved in sports and fitness, but in 2008 I was introduced to CrossFit by my Dad. Initially I wasn’t sold on the idea and didn’t want to give up my running and spin classes. I played around with 1 or 2 WOD’s a week for several months and then in October of that year, I decided to take on CrossFit as my main form of exercise. It changed my life. Within 3 months, I was stronger than I had ever been and was doing things I never thought I could like unassisted pull ups, overhead squats and deadlifting more than my bodyweight. Shortly after, I found out I was pregnant. I CrossFitted through my pregnancy and felt great. In May of 2010, I received my Level 1 certification and joined Kyle as a trainer at the gym. This was never a career I would have pictured for myself, but I enjoy it so much. Teaching clients to move well and then watching them make progress and gains and meet their fitness goals is so rewarding. I am also very passionate about nutrition and love to help people improve their their life by changing their eating habits.
