I tried my first CrossFit workout in early 2008. The WOD was “Fight Gone Bad”. While skeptical before starting, I knew instantly that this was the fitness program for me. With a background in coaching football, basketball, track & field and weightlifting; I saw the potential of CrossFit.
After immersing myself in the CrossFit Methodology for over a year, I decided to attend a CF level 1 certification. Shortly there after I applied for affiliation and CrossFit Rebellion was born. CrossFit Rebellion started as an outdoor bootcamp and then opened in our first brick & mortar location on July 1, 2009. Since then, CFR has grown a great deal, as has my vision and passion for CrossFit.
I have since become a CrossFit Level 2 instructor and have attended countless seminars to continue my education. I use this knowledge to deliver the most comprehensive, well designed CrossFit program possible. I focus on general physical fitness and adherence to true CrossFit methodology. A teacher at heart, my favorite aspect of coaching and owning a gym is having the opportunity to help others realize the potential they possess.
